Last Friday night, the women of Imago Dei Church were blessed with the opportunity to come together to spend time in concentrated prayer. The building was setup with several prayer stations for us to walk through and prompts to pray for at our own pace. We prayed for issues such as social injustice, for the victims and the perpetrators; for our brothers and sisters we know serving as missionaries in China, Israel, and other contexts around the world; for our lost loved ones; for our nation, her leaders and our military; for local ministries such as Converting Hearts, Raleigh Rescue Mission and others in the Raleigh area; for the unreached people groups in the 10/40 Window; and finally for the leadership at Imago Dei, our elders, growth group leaders, and future leaders. It was such a sweet time for us to unite under the banner of Christ as we lifted up praises in song and got on our hands and knees in prayer together. We desire to make this a common practice at Imago Dei Church, and we hope you’ll join us next time!
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thess. 5:16-18 (ESV)
