Help One Now: Orphans, Trafficking, and A Rescue Mission

How We Can Help at IDC

Dear IDC,

I recently met with a great brother in Christ, Chris Marlow, about a ministry that he leads called “Help One Now.”

The elders hope to sit down with him soon and discuss a long-term partnership with this incredible ministry that fights human trafficking, cares for orphans, plants churches, and feeds the hungry, among other things (basically the PEACE Plan).

One of the places that they are heavily invested in is Haiti.

While we haven’t become long-term partners yet, there is an immediate need that we can help with now.

I mean this Sunday.

Chris recently posted this blog entry about the urgent need to help 23 orphans in Haiti.

Here is the list of supplies that they are asking for (also on the above blog):

  • Boys and Girls Underwear 2-3T
  • Boys and Girls Underwear Size 4
  • Anti-fungal cream
  • Skin Lotion
  • Baby Oil
  • Bath Towels
  • Diapers for age 2 and up
  • Wet Wipes
  • High Protein/High Calorie Powder Drink Mix
  • Pedialyte Powder
  • Size 18 months to 3 T elastic shorts and T-shirts

We would love for you to bring some of these supplies this Sunday to IDC. We will get them to where they need to go.

Thanks for helping us with this need. Please pray for Chris and their work in Haiti, and especially this children.
