Take the this message of adoption to the millions who need the Gospel more than anything. Some object: what about evangelism? What about it? If orphans were a country they would be the 5th-8th largest country. There are more orphans than people in Russia. If you decide to do global evangelism, you have decided to evangelize orphans.

How can the covenant promises to Abraham and Moses be true? In Jesus at the Cross – where Law and Promise meet, where the Law is fulfilled and the Gospel proclaimed. In the one who is both the seed of Abraham and the Fulfillment of Moses’ Law. And we get the promises and blessings of both mediated to us through Christ…

– Jesus fulfills The Abrahamic Law as the Seed of Promise – the one who can crush the Dragons head and bring salvation to all nations…
– And He can be the Seed of Promise by fulfilling the Mosaic Law – the only one who was perfectly obedient… the only one who was not like Adam in the garden trying to put Himself in the place of God

  1. Love the gospel. “God justifies the ungodly by faith.” Let justification be your good news when you are doubtful of God’s love or discouraged by the pressures of life.
  2. Share this gospel. It is for the nations.
  3. Live by the Spirit and faith. It’s how we entered, and how we continue.
  4. Non-Christian: receive Christ as your righteousness.

Everyone’s life is centered on something. What’s your life centered on?

  • Money – if it is, then you’re on an emotional roller coaster
  • Career – if it goes down the tubes, you’re gone
  • Hobby – Talent – House

I want to remind you of this basic truth that we’ve been seeing in Galatians:

We must keep the Gospel as the main thing in our lives.

The only message that can change me and make me the kind of person who accepts a hit to the cheek and turns the other one is the gospel. Remember, we follow the one that when he was reviled he did not revile in return. The answer for Peter and for me is to turn to Christ.

He is all we need.

He is our only justification.

Turn to him, walk in step with the truth of the gospel.
