North Raleigh Ministries seeks to equip families and individuals in crisis with the resources and skills they need to achieve stability.
Ways to Serve
IDC members can serve through North Raleigh Ministries by:
- Assisting in their Life Skills Classes (e.g. financial, cooking, parenting) hosted in the IDC building. (Wednesdays 5:30p–8p)
- Roles Include:
- Childcare Volunteer
- Hospitality (Set-up, greeting, floating, breakdown)
- Roles Include:
- Volunteering in one of their two Thrift Shoppes, helping with cleaning, organizing, receiving donations, etc.

Harvest Plaza Thrift Shoppe:

Sales Floor volunteer (Friday and/or Saturday)
- Volunteer Bagger (any day)

Stony Brook Thrift Shoppe:

Production and Sales floor volunteers (any day)

Volunteering with your Small Group.

They are currently scheduling service groups to help sort and organize donations in their NRM Thrift Shoppe – Stony Brook location. You can schedule a group for a 2-6 hour shift together.
