This passage today is about the God’s saving purposes in Christ Jesus. Full disclosure, ultimately Jesus wants to seek and save the lost. That’s what Jesus’ mission is about. God’s glory is the goal, and seeking and saving of the lost is getting at that goal.God put a human suit on, left the throne room and entered human history to seek and save the lost.
