Raleigh Dream Center is a Christian-based organization providing social services and community programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high risk youth, individuals and families.
Ways to Serve
IDC members can serve through Raleigh Dream Center by:
- Joining a community outreach team through Adopt-A-Block (every 2nd & 4th Saturdays from 10a–2p in 10 local communities).
- Roles Include:
- Food Team (assisting community members in selecting free grocery items)
- Prayer Team (engaging with community members and offering prayer)
- Evangelism Team (going door-to-door to share the gospel in the community)
- KidzJam Team (engaging with the neighborhood children through games and a gospel lesson)
- Roles Include:
- Providing homework help, a mentoring relationship, and gospel discipleship for school-age children through KidzJam (After school on Tues./Wed. from 3:30p–5:30p in 2 local communities).
- Providing tutoring, games, lunch, and gospel discipleship for school-age children through the Summer Reading Program (Mon.–Wed.; June–August from 10a–12p in 3 local communities).
- Receiving and praying for regular prayer updates from RDC (email info@raleighdreamcenter.org to sign up for their updates!).
